Top Five Responses to the Sony Hack

December 19, 2014August 27, 2019 Eric F. Frazier

“A White House official said on Thursday that the administration was considering a ‘proportional response’ against those who hacked into Sony Pictures computers, a retaliation that could thrust the United States into a direct confrontation with North Korea.” –Peter Baker,…

About Eric F. Frazier

I am an independent writer, editor, book reviewer and co-author of GPS Declassified: From Smart Bombs to Smartphones.

Frazeology is my take on matters large and small, in the news or off the radar. My approach is personal, but the goal is not to write about me. Rather, it is to offer subjective observations about experiences and concerns that we all share.

From time to time, I link to and comment on things others have said particularly well--or especially poorly. And sometimes I make up new words. We have more than enough already, but it's fun and I find playing around with language irresistible.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by, and I hope you enjoy reading.

“The authors deftly place the concept and development of GPS within two broader historical contexts: navigation and robotic spaceflight.”
— from the foreword by Rick W. Sturdevant, PhD, Deputy Director of History, Air Force Space Command

Has anyone coined the term "Q-kook-coup" yet?

(How many coups could a Q kook coup if a Q kook could coup coups?)

I support space science but am glad other “intelligent” life is far beyond our reach. A species that can build nuclear bombs and spaceships yet have tens of millions so easily duped into believing nonsense is not safe for interplanetary travel.

And Blue Origin’s crew capsule — outfitted with seats, communication systems, life support & other passenger accommodations — has successfully landed in the desert of West Texas.

This completes the first flight of the capsule plans to use to fly people. https://spaceflightnow.com/2021/01/14/blue-origin-new-shepard-ns-14/
