Eric F. Frazier

Writer/Author/Fotografer

Frazeology is my take on matters large and small, in the news or off the radar.

Fotografy is my passion away from the keyboard - visual captures of nature and my travels.

Frazeology + Fotografy = less words/more pictures.

2017: Tampering with the U.S. Odometer

December 31, 2017August 27, 2019 Eric F. Frazier

As 2017 yields to 2018, the political and cultural terrains look strangely familiar. That may be because America is driving in reverse. If life is a journey, the preferred American mode of transport is definitely an automobile (usually a pickup…

Peeing, Privacy and Politics

April 9, 2016August 27, 2019 Eric F. Frazier

Since politicians have made bathrooms a trending topic, I have a confession: I’ve been urinating in public all my life. Or at least it feels that way. For those of us with penises (and birth certificates to prove it), exposing…

New Word: Pledgislation

April 2, 2016August 27, 2019 Eric F. Frazier

Recent actions by North Carolina’s General Assembly have been called many things, but I couldn’t find the exact right word. So I coined one: pledgislation. Our politicians are certainly not alone in succumbing to this impulse. It’s a human failing…

Steppin’ on Toes?

October 2, 2013October 10, 2013 Eric F. Frazier

In a new TV ad, N.C. Gov. Pat McCrory proclaims, “We’re steppin’ on the toes of the left and the right to make tough, necessary changes.” Funny, I haven’t heard anyone on the right squealing about his heavy foot, but…

About Eric F. Frazier

I am an independent writer, editor, book reviewer and co-author of GPS Declassified: From Smart Bombs to Smartphones.

Frazeology is my take on matters large and small, in the news or off the radar. My approach is personal, but the goal is not to write about me. Rather, it is to offer subjective observations about experiences and concerns that we all share.

Away from the keyboard, I love to be in the outdoors with a camera and long lens in my hands.

Fotos are my visual captures of nature and my travels through it.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by, and I hope you enjoy reading and viewing.
